Roast Busters uncovered Q&A session
The disturbing Roast Busters sex scandal has been all over the media raising issues about social media use, youth culture, and police handling of the issue. The Roast Busters bragged about their exploits on social media for two years. Society seems to have allowed this to happen unchecked.
Social media, smartphones, changing youth culture and the emergence of rape culture and victim blaming has raised serious questions for us as a society. University of Waikato experts in psychology, law and gender research will discuss these disturbing issues in a Google hangout.
