Michael Jackson:  Lawyer and Chairman of Partners (retired), Tompkins Wake

Michael-Jackson

Michael Jackson is a well-known figure in Hamilton, having practiced law with leading law firm Tompkins Wake for over 40 years - with many of those years spent as Chairman of Partners.

As a passionate advocate and supporter for Hamilton and the Waikato, in 2011 when Mr Jackson announced his plans for retirement after a very long and successful career, the University of Waikato Foundation was quick to welcome him as a member on its board of trustees.

Mr Jackson brings many years of experience and extensive generalist legal knowledge to the Foundation as part of the sub-committee responsible for fundraising for the new Law and Management building, which is projected for completion in 2015.
