The Waikato Law Review is a refereed peer review journal published by the University of Waikato School of Law located in Hamilton, New Zealand. It publishes diverse refereed articles from renowned legal academics and practitioners, as well as emerging academic authors. The Review is pleased to publish quality research by international scholars as well as from scholars within New Zealand.
The Review publishes one issue a year and its publication reflects its goals of reviewing the law in context as well as proudly cherishing the ethos of biculturalism.
The Maori title of the Review, Taumauri, means "to think with care and caution, to deliberate on matters constructively and analytically". This title both encapsulates and symbolises the values and goals of the Review.
The Review would like to acknowledge the continuing support of Harkness Henry & Co.
All submissions should include a written assurance by the author(s) that the submission is not being offered simultaneously to other publishers.
