To be in to win, you must place your entry into the box provided at the Te Wiki o te Reo Māori display on Level 2 of the Student Centre. You’ll also find Dictionaries and other useful resources to help you.

Calling all performing arts students! We're trialing a new database called Digital Theatre Plus. It's an educational platform for English and the Performing Arts, providing access to 600+ theatre productions and educational resources. This is an online video library, which has over 20,000 programmes from domestic and international television and Internet channels. It is available to all Waikato Staff and Students so check it out.

To ensure you get faster access to the latest print items arriving in the Library we now put newly received books and journals out on display on a daily basis instead of weekly. Each item remains on display for seven days and you can place requests for these items while they are on display.

Ebook Central will be unavailable on Sunday, 13 August from 7am to 10am due to scheduled maintenance.

We are experiencing access problems with APA PsycNET.  APA are aware of the issues which stem from their platform upgrade over the weekend and are working to resolve them as soon as possible.

ProQuest platforms are currently experiencing connectivity issues. The vendor is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

There is a major outage affecting journals and ebooks on Cambridge Core. They are working on fixing the problem as soon as possible.

Research Commons has been showcasing and preserving University of Waikato scholarly outputs since 2007....that's three new items every day! What was our 10,000th item? DVDs on the move! 30 June 2017

Our DVD collection has a new home. You can now find them at the far end of Level 3 by the print journals. Just grab the DVD you want and take it to the service desk on Level 2 to be unlocked.

If you haven't already contacted the Library about your new Course Texts or Recommended Reading books, now would be a good time. You can check in Library Search to see if we already have the books. If we don't, please contact your Academic Liaison Librarian to order them as soon as possible. (You may also need to let Bennetts bookshop know if you haven't already)

Library Search will be affected by scheduled maintenance at 2am - 6am, Sunday 18th June, 2017. Please note that Library Search may not be available during this period.

We know you all need as much time to study as possible, so we've extended our usual Library hours on Friday 9th and 16th June. On those days we'll be open until 10pm.

While our APA Quick Guide is a great resource, don't forget we have heaps more examples of correct APA referencing available online under common examples, citations in text, reference list and formatting elements.

We currently have two trials with SAGE on our Database Trials page: SAGE Book and Reference Collections and SAGE Video Collections. Both trials end on 5 May.

We have been notified that due to scheduled maintenance the Bridget Williams Books platform will not be available on Wednesday, 26 April, between 4pm and 6pm.
