Legal Research Skills drop-in sessions
Law Computer lab G97
We will be availableon the following dates in the Law Computer Lab G97 between 4.10pm and 5.00pm for any questions regarding the Legal Research Skills program and self-marking quizzes.

Quizzes 1-7 are due on 30 April 2012 at 11.55pm.
Graduate orientation: Law Library sessions
These sessions will be held on Thursdays at 2pm in the Te Piringa the Faculty of Law's teaching computer lab (Law G 97):
| Thursday March 8 | Legislation and case law for grads: |
| Thursday March 15 | Journal articles and alerts. Find journal articles and learn how to set up alerts that will keep searching for appropriate material for you. |
| Thursday March 22 | A summary of available software that allows you to store your research resources and create bibliographies: EndNote, Zotero, etc. |

The Law Library's Legal Research Skills Wiki has been set up to give students a one-stop shop on searching various law databases, as well as how to use print sources for legal research.

- give you the skills you need in order to get the best out of your legal research
- show you how to use print and electronic sources for primary and secondary law sources
- give you the confidence to find useful information using search engines and web directories.
