Bishop Selwyn Collection

| Brief Description: | Some 210 documents, largely letters written
in Māori to Bishop Selwyn during the years 1842 to 1872. There are
also thirty-seven miscellaneous items. All letters have been translated
into English, and typed copies made of the translations and the original
Māori. |

arranged and the name of the writer is given. An author (i.e. writer of each letter) index is available. Copies of these are held in the New Zealand Collection Office. |
