Research Interests
Bill Cochrane's main interests lie in the field of regional labour economics and the changing nature and organisation of work.
He is also involved with Jacques Poot and Michael Cameron in the provision of a wide range of consultancy services to local authorities, district health boards and various NGO's in the areas of population projection and labour market analysis.
About Me
Bill Cochrane was a Research Fellow in the Population Studies Centre from 2002-2010, and continues in the National Institute of Demographic and Economic Analysis as an Associate Researcher
Bill obtained a University of Waikato doctoral scholarship to undertake research on regional diversity and local labour market outcomes in New Zealand which will be completed in 2010.
