My Experience

As a recent former school Principal (finishing in July 2014), I possess leadership and management knowledge and expertise. Working collaboratively is important to me, because a sound, trusting and professional relationship sets the foundation for open and effective learning for all sectors of a school’s community.

Professional growth for school leaders can be achieved with my skill as a facilitator, coupled with my abilities as a coach and mentor. This will enable a school’s planning and actions to focus on the most important area - effective learning. Challenging the current reality, encouraging new ways of thinking and practice, and collaboratively identifying and setting priorities form the basis of my facilitation. Together these approaches lead to effective outcomes for improved learning success.
