Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship

Important notes

Before beginning the application process for this Scholarship, you MUST read the regulations of the Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship.

Applicants will also need to send hard copies of some documents to the University of Waikato Scholarships Office. You MUST ensure that you post these in time for them to reach the office by 31 January 2015.

You will need to provide the following additional documents and information required for the Brian Smith Memorial Entrance Scholarship.

Please ensure that all questions are answered and that all the required attachments accompany this application form. You may jeopardise your chances of success if you do not complete your application properly.

If your circumstances change after the submission of this application, e.g. you apply for or receive another Scholarship, please inform the Scholarships Office immediately.

A letter of application which includes your suitability in terms of character, financial need, and general all-round achievement and community group involvement. Please include any supporting information you view as relevant to this application:
Curriculum Vitae
A brief curriculum vitae (no more than four A4 pages in length):
NCEA Record of Achievement
A PDF version of your NCEA Record of Achievement. This must be obtained from the official NZQA website
Students completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme should attach an outline of their programme of study, and a reference from their secondary school giving indicative grades.
Students who have completed the Cambridge International Exams should scan their CIE results and attach to this application.
