University of Waikato Masters Research Scholarship
Before beginning the application process for this Scholarship, you MUST read the regulations of the University of Waikato Masters Research Scholarship carefully.
In addition to completing the online form, applicants will also need to send hard copies of some documents to the University of Waikato Scholarships Office. You MUST ensure that you post these in time for them to reach the Office by 31 October (Round 1) or 30 April (Round 2)
Important note: in 2014, the closing date for applications in Round 2 from students enrolled in Te Piringa - Faculty of Law and the School of Māori and Pacific Development has been extended until 3 June 2014.
You will be need to provide the following additional documents & information required for the University of Waikato Masters Research Scholarship.
Please ensure that all questions are answered and that all the required attachments accompany this application form. You may jeopardise your chances of success if you do not complete your application properly.
If your circumstances change after the submission of this application please inform the Scholarships Office immediately.
The information provided in this application will be used solely for the purposes of assessing your eligibility and suitability for the Scholarship for which you are applying. Personal information contained in this application will be made available to members of the Scholarships Committee, members of the Scholarships Committee, and staff of the Scholarships Office.
The University of Waikato undertakes to store your application in a secure place, in the event that you are successful in gaining an award or are selected as a reserve candidate for an award. The University of Waikato undertakes to destroy your application to preserve its confidentiality, in the event that you are unsuccessful in gaining an award. Should you have reason to believe that information held about you in either your application or your academic record is incorrect, you have the right of access to, and correction of, that information.
The University may contact the person you have named in your application as a referee for further information. Any such direct contact with this referee will be made on a strictly confidential basis. The University may not divulge details to you about the content of such confidential a reference without the written authorisation of the referee.
