Sexually Transmitted Infections
Sexually transmitted infections are common and if untreated can lead to serious complications such as infertility. It is therefore really important to get a regular check-up.
We can offer a comprehensive sexual health check at the medical centre. Please come in to see the nurse or doctor if you require this. This may involve some swabs (which can often be self-taken), a urine test and possibly a blood test.
We recommend having a test at least annually and each time you change partner. This is recommended even if you do not have any symptoms as often you do not know you have one.
