Swimming pool
Main Pool
The main pool is 50m in length and is 15.3m wide (can contain six lanes). It is 0.9m deep (shallow end) to 1.4m (deep end). Generally, three-lane ropes are placed in the main pool during public hours.
We are located on the University campus off of Gate 4, Hillcrest Road.
Please be aware there are major roadworks on both Ruakura Road and Silverdale Road, please plan your trip appropriately. For more info visit the Hamilton City Council website.
Dive Pool
The circular dive pool is 4.3m deep with a diameter of 11.3m.
Pool Bookings
There is no need to book the pool. Just head on down to the pool facility and you can pay on arrival with either cash or EFTPOS. If you did want to book the pool for a private function you can enquiry by emailing uowpool@waikato.ac.nz
