Key application and enrolment dates


Any person who wishes to enrol at the University must submit an application to enrol by the relevant deadline below. Applications submitted after the deadline may be accepted if space is available.

There are two ways to apply to enrol:

Academic advice is available through the individual faculties or school of study.

Enrolment is not complete until a signed enrolment agreement confirming the intended method of payment of fees option has been received by the University. Students must accept their enrolment agreement online or sign and return their enrolment agreement by the date specified below. Enrolments received after these dates, if accepted, will be subject to a late enrolment charge. See table of fees and charges.

2014/2015 Summer School dates

28 October 2014 Deadline for new domestic and returning students (international and domestic) to apply for enrolment in Summer School 2 (10 November to 21 December 2014)*.
7 November 2014 Deadline for completion of enrolment into papers for Summer School 2 (10 November to 21 December 2014).
8 December 2014 Deadline for new domestic and returning students (international and domestic) to apply for enrolment in Summer School 1 (5 January to 22 February 2015).
15 December 2014 Deadline for completion of enrolment into papers for Summer School 1 (5 January to 22 February 2015).


2015 Semester A and full year (March intake) dates

1 October 2014 Deadline to apply for Halls of Residence accommodation in 2015. Late applications will be considered if rooms are available.
1 October 2014 Deadline to apply for Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarships in 2015.
17 October 2014 Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design (BCGD): It is strongly recommended that applications and portfolios for the BCGD are received by this date. Correct and full entries received by this date will be considered for the Computer Graphic Design Fees Scholarship.
1 December 2014 Deadline for all new international students to apply for enrolment in Semester A (2 March to 28 June 2015) and papers that are taught over the full year*.
1 December 2014 Deadline for all new students for the LLB or LLB conjoing programmes to apply for enrolment in Semester A (2 March to 28 June 2015) and papers that are taught over the full year.*
1 December 2014 Deadline for all new students for Teacher Education programmes to apply for enrolment in Semester A (2 March to 28 June 2015) and papers that are taught over the full year.*
16 February 2015 Deadline for all new domestic students to apply for enrolment in Semester A (2 March to 28 June 2015) and papers that are taught over the full year*.
16 February 2015 Deadline for all returning domestic and international students to apply for enrolment in Semester A (2 March to 28 June 2015) and papers that are taught over the full year*.
27 February 2015 Deadline for completion of enrolment into papers for Semester A (2 March to 28 June 2015) and for papers that are taught over the full year.

Corporate and Executive Education programme

One month prior to start date Deadline to apply for enrolment in the Corporate and Executive Education Programme
Friday prior to start date Deadline for completion of enrolment in the Corporate and Executive Education Programme

Thesis

One month prior to start date Deadline to apply for enrolment for thesis study
Friday prior to start date Deadline for completion of enrolment for thesis study


*Note: Applications received after this date will be considered if there are spaces available.

If you are intending on getting a student loan or student allowance, we recommend that you apply for your student loan or student allowance two months before your study starts. This will give you plenty of time to resolve any problems that might arise.
