Science & Engineering Open Week

Dates: Monday 26 June - Thursday 29 June 2017

Spend a day on campus with our staff and students and experience hands-on workshops and lab demonstrations.

Science subjects include: Ecology & Biodiversity, Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, Molecular & Cellular Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science.

Engineering subjects include: Chemical & Biological Engineering, Materials & Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electronics Engineering.

This event is suitable  for Year 12 and Year 13 school students. Further information to come.

Applicant Day gives you the opportunity to visit the University of Waikato Hamilton and Windermere campus’ and explore what we have to offer. Talk one-on-one with faculty staff and students about your study options and paper selections, and receive all the information you need to complete your

Law Student for a Day

Dates: Wednesday 29 March, Wednesday 7 June, Wednesday 30 August, Wednesday 4 October

A law degree usually takes four years of study. Before making this commitment you can get a taste of what studying law at Waikato is all about. Join fellow Year 12 and 13 secondary school students from throughout the North Island for this event organized by Te Piringa – Faculty of Law.

Drop into campus for more information anytime

We invite you to come on campus and visit our Student Centre for more information on any of our courses. Friendly staff will be able to answer your questions and help you with the enrolment process, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.

We have seven faculties/schools of study at the University of Waikato which you can contact for any enquiries regarding admission and enrolment into their programmes of study. Contact a faculty.

Campus Tours

Campus tours are ideal for future students who are looking to find out more about the University of Waikato but are unable to make it to our Information Evenings or Open Day. The tours are a good way of seeing the campus with one of our Future Students Advisers who can answer any questions you have about studying here.
