Acceptance into the Master of Applied Finance programme.

This paper provide students with a thorough understanding of international financial flows in today’s dynamic world economy. Initially the paper will focus on the analysis of international financial environment, international financial /monetary system, foreign exchange markets, exchange rate determination, international trade, and balance of payments. The second part of the paper will focus on the role and practices of multinational corporations, banks and international financial institutions in the world economy. This includes decision processes relating to profitability, risk management, and international corporate social responsibility.
