Camille Buscomb

Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)

Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

2016 was a big year for the St Peter's School leaver of 2008. It was Camille Buscomb's final year of undergraduate study, which she began at Purdue University in America in 2009. She completed her BA with a major in Psychology and a minor in English.

After many degree changes and a 3-year stint away from studies completely, Camille saw her undergraduate qualification from the University of Waikato as a first step towards higher goals. She is intent in going on to further study and obtaining a masters in Clinical Psychology, with the ultimate goal of being a registered Psychologist.

She enjoys volunteering at Lifeline and giving back to the community where possible.

Camille held the national 5000m title for three straight years (2014-16) and the 10,000m title in 2013-14. In 2015 she won both the Auckland Half and Hamilton Half Marathons, retaining her titles from the previous year whilst also going under the World Half Marathon Championships qualification standard. She's won multiple 10,000m Road Nationals Title. In 2015 she competed at the World University Games in Korea, placing second in the 5000m.
