Students in The Dispute
Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences staff and students are featuring at this year's Hamilton Garden Festival.
Directed by Theatre Studies senior lecturer, Gaye Poole, The Dispute investigates who is more unfaithful in love, men or women? What if four young people had been locked away in isolation since birth? What if they were to be released for the first time? How would bodies and minds reared alone respond to the first words, the first lies, the first kisses?
The cast features three Hillary Scholars, Michael Potts, Kirsty Russell and Zoe Vaile, as well as current students Keagan Fransch, Lydia Foley, Clive Lamdin, Jacques Fourie, former student Keoni Mahelone, and Waikato staff members Sara Young and Athena Chambers.
Two of the five performances of The Dispute will be 'deaf friendly'. The signed performances will be on March 1 at 6pm and March 4 at 6.30pm.
