Planning Your Programme

Do you care about the natural environment? Are you interested in the ways in which humans interact with the environment?

The BEP is a four-year programme that has been structured following detailed consultation with local and regional planning professionals, the New Zealand Planning Institute and other universities across New Zealand.

Waikato University is the key tertiary provider for environmental planning because it is situated in the heart of the Waikato, a region with a wealth of natural resources, which support a wide range of industries such as agriculture, forestry and tourism. This location provides an excellent context for the study of historical, contemporary and future environmental planning issues.
