There are several ways you can gain admission to degree study at the University of Waikato. It is likely that you will be accepted into a Waikato Certificate if you meet the criteria outlined on this page.

 Requirements
The Certificate comprises a minimum of 120 points at 100 level or above, including 90 points in one field. Normally it involves one year of full-time study (or more extended part-time study). Candidates must also meet the relevant field requirements as set out below.
Note: A candidate who has successfully completed papers for either of these qualifications may apply to have them transferred to an Undergraduate Degree, before the certificate is awarded. A transfer credit fee will apply.
