Research Interests:

Colm McKeogh has a BA (Mod) and PhD in Political Science from Trinity College, Dublin and an MSc (Econ) in Strategic Studies from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He is the author of The Political Realism of Reinhold Niebuhr (Macmillan, 1997), Innocent Civilians (Palgrave, 2002), and Tolstoy’s Pacifism (Cambria, 2009).

His research centres on Christian attitudes to political violence. Dr McKeogh teaches POLS108 Political Life in the Ancient World: Citizens, Slaves and Emperors, POLS201 Major Political Thinkers, and POLS300 War and Religion. He is also the Department's Undergraduate Adviser.
