Research Interests:

Patrick Barrett has a BSW (Hons) and a PhD in Social Policy from Massey University. His current research interests include employment policy, and population ageing and social policy. His work has appeared in a number of journals including the Australasian Journal of Ageing and the Social Policy Journal of New Zealand. Dr Barrett teaches POLS105 People and Policy and POLS212 Policy Issues: International Perspectives and POLS501 The Policy Process and Policy Analysis: Theoretical Perspectives.
