Asian Studies - Undergraduate Study

There will be no new intake into the Asian Studies major or supporting subject from 2011.

Subject Regulations

To complete a supporting subject in Asian Studies, students must gain at least 70 points (including one of the compulsory papers listed below), and a further 20 points above 100 level. At the discretion of the Convenor of Asian Studies, one Asian language paper may be counted as an Asian Studies paper..

     One of:
     CHIN203 / CHIN303 Chinese History and Social Institutions
     JAPA205 Japan from Prehistory to Present (before 2008 - no longer offered)
     JAPA208 Traditional Japan
     JAPA209 Modern Japan
