Entrance
Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarships are available for school leavers with a record of excellence in performing arts, current students are also eligible to apply if they meet the criteria.
University of Waikato School Leaver Scholarships available to all students who meet the criteria.
Undergraduate
Two singing scholarships of $1000 are offered by St. Peter's Cathedral.
The Lili Kraus Piano Award worth $1000 is made to the full-time enrolled piano performance student who is deemed to be showing the most commitment and artistic progress.
The John M Thomson Prize in Music History.
The Hillary Chamber Music Competition takes place each year with a $2000 prize for the winning ensemble.
The Lilburn Trust Student Composition Awards Concert is organised each year, with $2500 in prizes and performance fees.
Arts Waikato Trust Scholarships are offered for individuals in full or part time tertiary study in the arts.
The Norah Howell Trust makes a generous contribution to the Performance Programme, offers scholarship opportunities and awards two $500 prizes for academic excellence.
Graduate
FASS Honours/ Postgraduate Diploma Awards for students enrolling in the honours programme.
FASS Masters Thesis Awards for students enrolling in a Masters research degree.
The Kerby Bursary for an oustanding full-time graduate student in Music.
The Niklas Werner Memorial Prize is awarded for graduate or postgraduate digital music composition/research.
