Religious Studies is available as a supporting subject, or as elective/interest papers toward any qualification at the University of Waikato (assuming any required pre-requisites have been met).

There will be no new intake into the Religious Studies major from 2011.

Subject Regulations

To complete a supporting subject in Religious Studies, students must gain 70 points in the Religious Studies subject, of which at least 40 points must be above 100 level.

Note: Candidates must gain at least 60 points at 100 level in any subject(s) before enrolling in Religious Studies papers above 100 level, and at least 90 points at 100 and 200 level before enrolling in Religious Studies papers above 200 level.
