Sociology - Graduate Study

The Sociology Programme is proud of our graduate culture, which continues to produce successful professional sociologists. It is informal, friendly and supportive. Staff provide guidance and mentoring regarding professional development as well as teaching and supervision of the highest standards. Graduate students are encouraged to pursue their own research interests within the course structure. Any difficulties students encounter may be discussed with the Graduate Adviser or Convenor of the Sociology Programme at any time.

Students proposing to do graduate studies in Sociology should determine their programme in consultation with the convenor of the Sociology programme and relevant staff in Sociology.
