Sociological Association of Aotearoa/New Zealand

If you are interested in majoring in Sociology you are encouraged to join the Association. Subscriptions are income-related, and you can become a full member at a very modest rate. Maxine Campbell and Jo Barnes are currently on the SAANZ Executive, and can be contacted through the Sociology and Social Policy Department.

There are connections with a variety of more specialised bodies through the particular research and community activities of staff, and students often have opportunities to take advantage of these other linkages in the course of their participation in relevant papers.
