Wilf Malcolm Institute of Educational Research

Welcome to the Wilf Malcolm Institute of Educational Research (WMIER). This institute was established by the Faculty of Education, University of Waikato to undertake, support and disseminate research relating to the broad field of education.

It is our mission to carry out research that makes a difference to policy and practice in early childhood, primary and secondary school and tertiary education. The Institute contributes strongly to the Faculty of Education’s top-ranking status for research and research-based teaching.
