This is part of a series of seminars following on from the Conversation About Visual Research colloquium held in February 2011.
When planning a research project, using visual methods (e.g. the use of photography, film, video) to document areas of social and cultural life might appear to be quite straightforward and unproblematic. This is not always the case. In this seminar Darrin Hodgetts from the University of Waikato, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, will discuss some of the considerations that might help alleviate problems that may arise.
