CEREL Student Event - How did we get the Resource Management Act? The Process of RMA Policy Making

Margaret Wilson DCNZM is an academic, founding Dean of Te Piringa - Faculty of Law and former politician. She served as Attorney-General, Minister of Labour, Minister of Treaty Negotiations and Minister of Commerce. She was Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2005-2008.
Margaret will present her thoughts of “How did we get the RMA?” Hear the story behind this Act and the struggle to retain its principles. Who were the key policy and political players? Come and learn about the process of policy making and law reform.
