Contracts are for 37 weeks unless other arrangements have been made. All costs quoted are for the Halls of Residence 2010.

Payment of Accommodation

  • To secure your place in the Halls, you are required to sign a contract and pay a bond/contingency deposit of $300.00 and administration fee of $100.00
  • In January, you will receive an invoice for the full year's accommodation along with a Payment Agreement
  • You can choose to pay your accommodation
    • in full
    • instalments paid monthly
    • weekly instalments
  • Before you move in, you are required to pay approximately four weeks' rent, an activity fee of $100.00 and any optional extras (linen service, bike shed hire etc).

NZ Students Only

  • Those receiving a Student Loan and/or Student Allowance to pay accommodation are advised to choose the weekly payment option
  • Student Loans and/or Allowances are not paid directly to the University for living expenses. The money is paid directly into the Student's bank account. It is the student's responsibility to set up a weekly direct debits to the University
