Student Life
Study is important but there's more than just academic life at the University of Waikato.
Students are supported through a range of services and excellent pastoral care and our size means our students are names, not numbers. From student academic support to on-site health services, counselling and budgeting help, our commitment is to support you through university
Whether you're at our Hamilton or Tauranga campus, it's easy to get around, and on our Hamilton campus, our on-campus Halls of Residence mean you're only five minutes away from your lectures.
Being based in the central North Island means there's plenty of extra-curricular activities at your door, from the cafe life of Hamilton, to the beaches of the Bay of Plenty, surfing at Raglan and skiing just two hours away.
Study Options
Our flexible degree structure means you can take papers from a variety of subjects, and shape the qualification that will keep your skills in demand.
