The University of Waikato has a scholarship for international students who have demonstrated excellence in their previous studies. Successful candidates will be globally minded, innovative thinkers committed to becoming life-long ambassadors for the University of Waikato.

Award amount

Up to NZ$5,000 applied to tuition fees.

Academic selection criteria

These scholarships for international students will be awarded to students who can demonstrate academic excellence, and potential to become global ambassadors for the University of Waikato.

Application process

If you want to apply for this scholarship, you will first need to submit an 'Application to Enrol' and then submit a scholarship application.  Once you have an offer, we will process your application for a scholarship.
