Did you know that you can come to Student Learning for help with your speaking? Some of your assessments at University may involve speaking. You may have to talk in tutorials, and make oral presentations, present your thesis at a symposium or conference. This Moodle page has tips on speaking and pronunciation, making slides in powerpoint, oral presentation strategies and pronunciation practice.
It also has resources to help with listening to lectures.
You may have identified pronunciation as something that you would like to improve when you are speaking. This tool provides you with examples of the sounds of English, and in the page is a little voice recorder that you can use to compare your pronunciation with a native speaker's.
