Hamilton accommodation
With three halls of residence, apartments, cottages, studios and units, we have a range of options for all Hamilton students, from undergraduate to postgraduate.
Tauranga accommodation
Stay in self-catered university accommodation in the heart of Tauranga.
Summer accommodation
Summer 2026/2027 accommodation applications will be available 10th of August.
Homestay
Homestay is where you stay with a New Zealand family and learn more about the local culture. This is a great option for international students who want to improve their conversational English.
Flatting and private rentals
If you don’t want to live on campus, there are plenty of flats and rental properties. We recommend that if you choose to rent or flat that you move in early to get settled in before the trimester starts and always have your agreement in writing.

Access to the Accommodation Portal where you can apply for accommodation, accept your offer, and make payments.
University Accommodation Pastoral Care
Our accommodation team provides a range of pastoral care and wellbeing support, in line with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021.
