Choose from a range of teaching spaces with flexible room sizes and IT facilities to suit your needs and audience. Alternatively, book an on-campus pop-up, and our team will help coordinate the best location and timing.

To arrange a campus visit, contact industry@waikato.ac.nz.

Promote Your Opportunities

Connect with Waikato students and graduates to promote your internships, graduate programmes, part-time, and full-time opportunities.

While we don't operate a dedicated job board, we help employers reach students through targeted email communications, social media, and by promoting New Zealand's leading job platforms.

To learn more about advertising your opportunities, contact the Careers & Employability team at industry@waikato.ac.nz.

Student Volunteering Opportunities

Connect with motivated Waikato students through volunteer opportunities that make a difference.

The University of Waikato's Employability Plus Award (EPA) connects students with volunteer roles on campus and in the community, helping them build valuable employability and interpersonal skills alongside their studies.

Promote your opportunities at our annual Volunteer Expo, share roles through our partnership with Volunteering Waikato and Volunteering Servies BOP, or reach our student volunteer network directly through targeted email communications.

Connect with us via: employabilityplus@waikato.ac.nz.

Help shape Waikato’s global reputation - and your talent pipeline

The University of Waikato ranks in the top 2% of universities worldwide and number one in Aotearoa for research* – and employer feedback helps make that possible.

If you’ve employed our graduates or alumni, taking part in the upcoming QS World University Rankings survey helps ensure the Waikato continues to be seen, and valued, on the global stage.

Why your voice matters:

  • Drive economic growth - A globally recognised university ranking strengthens the region’s visibility, opening doors to investment, partnerships, and long-term economic growth.
  • Grow the talent pipeline - A stronger university ranking attracts top talent to the Waikato, benefiting your business and the wider region.
  • Support business vibrancy - High rankings drive innovation, business development and job creation across our communities.

It only takes a few minutes to complete the QS Employer Reputation Survey, but your voice makes a real difference.
