Welcome to our Library! Learning how to find, use and manage information is an important part of University study. We have lots of resources and guides to help you with your assignments and referencing.

Ask us for help - online or in person.

Using the library

You will find lots of great resources and information on our Library webpage, scroll around and check out the links – it can be a good break from writing your assignment.

We support a range of students and researchers, both on campus and distance students.

You can also watch a range of short helpful videos about all things Library on our YouTube channel. Learn about My Account, how to request a book, read a call number and much more.

Library Search is where you can search our Collections. Once you enter a keyword or title or author, filters wil show to help narrow your search.

We have Library Guides and Subject Portals to help refine your search. You can also add our Virtual Reference Desk to your  Moodle.

We have three libraries on campus and hundreds of thousands of eBooks and articles online. You can borrow and request items.

Also, check out your course reading list. (Note: Not all courses will have one.) You can find out more about how to search and use your reading list.

We also help with referencing. APA is the most popular style used at the University of Waikato; we have a range of APA resources including a Quick APA Style Guide.
