- Aromatawai hei whakapakari i te kaiako - building kaiako confidence in designing, interpreting, and applying data in culturally authentic ways.
- He tirohanga māori ki te aromatawai - embedding aromatawai approaches grounded in kaupapa Māori, Mātauranga Māori, and He Puāwaitanga Harakeke (Rukuhia Rarangahia).
- He kete hāpai i te aromatawai - using tools such as Hopukina, Ngā Kete Kōrero, He Manu Tuhituhi, and locally developed methods.
- He tirohanga whānui mō te aromatawai - strengthening leadership, coherence, and collaboration within and across kura.

Ngā Kaitakawaenga
Aromatawai PLD is delivered by:
- Ana Rīki, Marama Reweti Martin, Merimeri Anania, Ros Bartosh, and Shannon Dryden (from Te Whai Toi Tangata)
Each brings extensive experience in Māori-medium education, leadership, and culturally grounded aromatawai design, ensuring facilitation that honours te reo Māori, whānau, and the mana of mokopuna.
