Important notes regarding hard copy attachments

All attachments will be photocopied to be distributed to Selection Panel members. Therefore, please do not bind documents or present them in a folder, as this will be of no benefit to you. Preferably, your attachments should consist of loose pages clipped in one corner by a bulldog clip (if you use staples, these will need to be removed, which can damage your application). Colour printing is also unnecessary, as all applications will be copied in black and white.
Please do not send original documents as they will not be returned; verified photocopies are acceptable.
All documents should be A4 size. If you have smaller documents, copy them to an A4 piece of paper. Documents of other sizes may not be copied and distributed to the Selection Panel with the rest of your application.

These documents should be sent to:

The Scholarships Office
The University of Waikato
Private Bag 3105
Hamilton
New Zealand.

Should you be offered a Sir Edmund Hillary Medal, information on your academic achievements will be made available to members of the Sir Edmund Hillary Executive Group during the tenure of your Scholarship.

The University of Waikato undertakes to store your application in a secure place in the event that you are successful in gaining an award or are selected as a reserve candidate for an award. The University of Waikato undertakes to destroy your application to preserve its confidentiality, in the event that you are unsuccessful in gaining an award.
