Daisy Digital Marketing has welcomed a number of Waikato Management School (WMS) interns into their team over the past year, sometimes even hosting multiple students at once. For Director and proud WMS alumna Sarah Imeson, supporting students is a natural extension of the agency’s culture.
“It’s been an honour to host some of the most incredible young talent over the years,” says Sarah.
We’ve truly enjoyed working with each intern, and I’ve personally loved supporting their growth and watching them step into exciting roles after graduation.

"One of the biggest advantages for our interns is the real-world application of their studies. They’re working directly with clients in a fast-paced agency setting, gaining insight into what marketing careers look like in practice.”
With a team proudly made up of WMS alumni, Daisy Digital offers students not just practical experience, but meaningful mentorship from those who’ve walked the same path.
WMS Engagement and Alumni Advisor Amber Cardale recently visited the Daisy Digital team to shout lunch and catch up with both alumni and their current Work-Integrated Learning intern.
It’s always fantastic seeing our alumni out in the industry and hearing firsthand how they’re giving back by creating meaningful learning opportunities

Interns at Daisy Digital also benefit from the variety that comes with working in a smaller agency, where they can contribute across multiple projects and gain exposure to a range of tools and client types.
