Tackling Harassment

Learning about harassment and hate is important for the safety, wellbeing, and overall university experience for yourself and others! The purpose of these courses is to raise awareness, counteract barriers to reporting and intervention, and encourage positive culture change throughout the whole university community.

Academic Integrity

This course is designed to cover what Academic Integrity means for you as a student at the University of Waikato.

Academic Integrity means that:

  1.  You will conduct yourself in a manner that models and represents stated University of Waikato integrity values.
  2. Your academic voice as a student is valid and welcomed, and you can express your voice according to the expectations of University of Waikato academic culture.
  3. When you use external sources of information in your writing or other assignments, you will cite them appropriately using an established and approved citation style. You may compare those sources of information with your own perspectives and opinions.
