Academic Integrity
This course is designed to cover what Academic Integrity means for you as a student at the University of Waikato.
Academic Integrity means that:
- You will conduct yourself in a manner that models and represents stated University of Waikato integrity values.
- Your academic voice as a student is valid and welcomed, and you can express your voice according to the expectations of University of Waikato academic culture.
- When you use external sources of information in your writing or other assignments, you will cite them appropriately using an established and approved citation style. You may compare those sources of information with your own perspectives and opinions.
Turnitin similarity report
Turnitin allows you to get a similarity report on your assignment. To get a Turnitin report, you can usually upload a draft of your assignment in Moodle. If you prefer, or if this option is not available, you can self-enrol in the Turnitin Similarity Report Moodle paper.
Your draft will not be retained in the Turnitin database.
