This paper involves theory, informed experimentation and practice. It is designed to provide the student with basic knowledge of key aspects in colour in design, how we 'see' colour, the ability to predict the results of colour mixtures using subtractive and additive systems, an awareness of symbolic and illusionary effects and the use of colour in art design history.
