This paper explores and deepens understanding of the health needs of young people in Aotearoa New Zealand enabling health professionals to respond and contribute effectively to the delivery of youth health services in a variety of settings. Topics include the physical, mental emotional and social dimensions of youth health. The paper addresses contemporary issues that affect the physical and mental health of young people.
