Māori Education graduates will have knowledge of policy, pedagogy and practices in Māori and English medium education settings appropriate to Māori learners and communities.

Māori Education is available as a minor.

To complete a minor in Māori Education, students must complete 60 points in Māori Education, including at least 30 points above 100 level. Students must complete MAOED100, MAOED200; either EDUCA200 or EDSOC300; and a further 15 points from MAORI202 or MAORI302 or approved papers listed under Māori Education.
