Cycling and cycle racks
There are more than 40 bike racks available around the Tauranga campus.
Cycling or scootering is a great way for students to get to campus.
For secure bike storage, students are recommended to use the Bike Shed under 184 Cameron Road (Durham Lane side, to the left of the “Kotahitanga” mural by Mr G). It offers secure storage for 48 bikes/scooters.
Alternatively, the bike racks along Durham Lane are another good place for students to park. Parking along Durham Street is not recommended. Students should make sure they use a bike lock to secure their bike or scooter.

To access the Bike Shed students need to request swipe card access from the Student Services team in The Hub in person, by email or phone 07 262 0500.
For students who opt to cycle to campus, there are showers on the ground level and level 1 for student use. Lockers and secure device chargers are available on a six-hour timer and are situated on each level near the toilet facilities.
