Join us for Harmony Waikato Rhapsody, an unforgettable celebration of barbershop harmony featuring some of the Waikato region’s finest singers and ensembles as they prepare for the upcoming Barbershop Harmony New Zealand National Convention and Contest and the Young Singers in Harmony (YSIH) National Contest.
This special concert showcases reigning Barbershop Harmony New Zealand Chorus Champions, Manu Mātātahi. Fresh from the international stage, where they recently achieved an impressive 13th-place finish, Manu Mātātahi continue to captivate audiences with their vibrant sound, exceptional musicianship, and world-class performance.
The afternoon will also feature Mighty River Harmony, New Zealand’s premier men's barbershop chorus, renowned for their rich, classic barbershop sound, ringing chords, and powerhouse bass section.
And if that wasn't enough, the outgoing YSIH National Champion Chorus, Heart Attack will also be performing.
Adding even more harmony to the stage will be several of the region’s leading quartets, including crowd favourites The Usual Suspects, Centreplace, Belladonna, Foursquare and REDemption bringing a mix of entertainment, artistry, and vocal excellence.
