A graduate of the Master of Construction Management will be able to:

  • Lead teams and engage stakeholders through clear communication in complex construction environments
  • Plan, manage and evaluate construction projects using sound technical and managerial principles
  • Understand and apply legal, commercial and regulatory requirements in governance, contracts, procurement and compliance
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using digital technologies to support project coordination, data management and decision-making
  • Implement quality, health and safety, and sustainability standard across all phases of the construction lifecycle
  • Engage in reflective practice and ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain and enhance skills
  • Adhere to ethical principles and uphold professional responsibilities in all aspects of practice
  • Apply new method and critical thinking to analyse issues and deliver innovative construction solutions
  • Respect and incorporate Māori perspectives and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in the build environment.
