Celebrating 30 years of new frontiers: Te Piringa Faculty of Law
In 1991, when Te Piringa - Faculty of Law at the University of Waikato opened its doors, it was the beginning of a new approach to legal education in New Zealand.
CEREL generates research into law and policy that supports efforts to answer the challenges we face locally and worldwide in relation to the environment, natural resources and energy.
Welcome to the Centre for Environmental, Resources and Energy Law, established in 2011 and hosted by Te Piringa - Faculty of Law at the University of Waikato.
CEREL’s research areas encompass water, coastal, environmental, climate change, energy, mineral resources and international environmental law.
Meet CEREL's members and learn more about their research.
