This paper has been developed specifically for students who will be undertaking a project as a part of the University of Waikato Summer Research Scholarship Programme. The paper provides students with opportunities to experience the challenges and rewards of research under the supervision of well-established researchers at the University of Waikato. Students must submit a research poster by the end of the programme.
