Kaimai Shuttle

The University offers a free first-in, first served shuttle service between the Hamitlon and Tauranga campuses. This service is available to enrolled students who live in one region and are required to travel from one campus to the other for classes, research supervision, or matters that are related to their university study.

The Kaimai shuttle is Wifi-enabled so study/work time is not lost during the commute. The shuttle is also available to staff. The Kaimai shuttle runs Monday to Friday during teaching weeks of Trimesters A,B and C, and teaching periods G and H. It does not run during teaching recesses, study and exam weeks.

The Kaimai shuttle vans will arrive and depart from the following locations:

Campus Pick up/Drop off points
Tauranga Durham Lane area (outside courtyard) by the bicycle stands
Hamilton Main University Bus Stop (Gate 1, outside campus shops)

Students must be registered to use this service.

To register, email [email protected] and include your name and student ID. Once registered you will receive an email confirming how to book your seat.

Staff do not need to register to book on the Kaimai Shuttle.
