Arapeta has been an active participant in Māori performing arts since his inception in this world. A proud afakasi (Māori/Samoan) man that strives to create a pathway for other young Māori individuals to follow in order to understand their true potential. He is currently studying a Batchelor of Arts in both Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori and likens his tertiary studies to the journey that his ancestors made all those years ago from Hawaiki here to Aotearoa in order to truly understand the process of excellence. Arapeta enjoys the learning envionment at Waikato University and appreciates all of the support networks he has as a Hillary Scholar.
